Ever since Bungie teased their content plans, every group I’ve played a raid or strike with online has been talking about them almost incessantly. And finally, we have an update.
On the latest Bungie Weekly Update – or This week at Bungie, whatever you want to call it – we’re told that Destiny will get new PvE challenges, new and updated gear, a new quest featuring the Blighted Chalice Strike, higher maximum light level and rewards, and updates to the Crucible and the sandbox.
For anyone who owns The Taken King expansion, this will be free content – although I can’t imagine that there are many people playing Destiny without The Taken King. If you are one of those people, know that it is a worthy expansion and you may want to buy it immediately.
And finally, we’ll get details about the next content across the next three weeks, via Twitch. This is how Bungie’s planned the streams.

The entire weekly update is here, if you want to check it out. And the image I used for this post is straight from there. Taken versions of the Guardians? What does it even mean? Story significance? Or is Bungie screwing with us? Let’s speculate.
