The Horus Heresy is one of the most interesting times in Warhammer 40,000 mythology, so this sounds like an especially exciting prospect.
Talisman: The Horus Heresy is a digital board game based on the Talisman rule system, set in the Warhammer 40k universe. It lets players take command of one of 18 Space Marine legions that fought during the Horus Heresy.
First, here’s a trailer.
Details are a bit sparse at the moment, but we do know that players can go up against AI opponents or via multiplayer with up to 4 friends; and that a bunch of heroes and villains are playable, including Robute Guilliman, Primarch of the Ultramarines, and Angron, Primarch of the World Eaters.
Preorders open on January 26th, and the Horus Heresy releases in February – although we don’t have the actual release date yet. Later in the year, a version will be released for mobile devices as well.
More information will follow as soon as we have it, and a review if we can get our hands on The Horus Heresy. In the meanwhile, screens below. And you can check out Nomad Games’ site here.
